Day 17: My Secret to CTAs That Turn Lurkers into Buyers (or Followers)
Whether you want to get clients, followers, or leads for your email list, these will work
THIS POST IS FOR EVERYONE 💜
We’ve been diving deep into stories, emotions, fears, and desires…
And by now, your content is probably starting to feel more juicy, and you’re seeing the evolution and refinement of your expression.
But if you’re pouring your heart into posts and still hearing crickets when it’s time for someone click on your link or DM you?
We need to talk about your CTAs.
Unfortunately, so many brilliant people hate asking for the sale.
They skip it.
They overthink it.
They drop a “let me know if this resonates” and back away slowly.
And I get it. We’ve been taught that inviting someone to take action = pressure.
Or worse, that it makes us “too much,” “too pushy,” or “too salesy.”
But…
A powerful CTA doesn’t pressure your audience. It empowers them.
EVERY single person watching/reading your posts is starving for the solution.
Your people don’t just want to feel seen.
They want to know what to do with that feeling.
And that’s where your CTA becomes the bridge between resonance and results.
So today, we’re going there.
All you need is these two things working together:
1. A CTA Type (the action you want them to take)
2. A Psychological Angle (the emotional frame that makes them want to take it)
In content it looks like:
Content → Psychological Angle (Frame) → CTA Type (Action)
Choose one of the 6 types of CTAs
The CTA Type is the action you're asking them to take.
Here are the 6 core CTA Types:
So, know what you want them to do.
Pick the right psychological angle
The Psychological Angle is the emotional reason they’ll want to do it.
Here are 5 powerful angles that lead people into action naturally:
Why most CTAs flop
Most people either:
Only focus on the CTA Type ("Follow me!" / "Buy now!") without creating the emotional pull.
Or, they create an emotional story but don’t tell people what to do next (losing momentum completely).
You need both.
The emotional angle gets their heart open.
The CTA tells their brain what to do next.
✨ Quick Cheat Sheet
Basically, if you want people to move,
you have to move them first.
→ Frame the invitation emotionally.
→ Make the action clear.
→ Keep stacking little moments of trust, admiration, and resonance.
That's how you build a brand that pulls clients in naturally—without chasing, forcing, or shouting.
So today, for Day 17, just integrate this. Remember it and refer to this post any time you feel stuck on your CTAs.
And have an amazing Easter weekend if you’re celebrating!
Love ya!

Just found you in notes, already glad I’m here! Love human design and seen it work wonders in my life but because so much info is hidden, I feel I’ve learned as much as I can about my profile with paying thousands for instruction— and yet I feel I’ve barely scratch the surface! Glad to be here and looking forward to what else I can learn to be more in alignment with my design:)
