Let’s name what’s really happening when someone’s hovering over the “Book Now” button… but doesn’t click.

It’s not that your offer isn’t good.
It’s not that they don’t want the result.
It’s fear. Deep, instinctual fear.

⚡ Fear of investing and not getting results.
⚡ Fear of trusting the wrong mentor.
⚡ Fear of losing momentum halfway through.
⚡ Fear of repeating the past mistakes.

Cuz you see, your clients don’t just fear failure.
They fear their own vulnerability on the journey.

And if you don’t speak to that and illuminate how, with you by their side, that will not be an issue?
They never invest in you.
But they will invest in your ‘competitors’ who do give them a sense of security.

This is why today we’re diving into the Splenic Center in Human Design.

Part of my chart with my defined Spleen and defined Gate 44

Because unlike the Emotional Center (which is all about waves and feelings),
the Splenic Center is where fear lives.

It’s constantly scanning: “Am I safe?”
And when it doesn’t feel safe, it shuts down action immediately.

What most people don’t realize is that each Gate of the Splenic Center represents a very specific survival fear—often unconscious, but powerful enough to sabotage growth, delay decisions, and block transformation.

These fears are some of the most important things you can name in your content.

Because when you name the real reason someone is holding back—and then show how you guide them through it?
You become the one they trust to walk them through fire.

7 Fears of the Splenic Center

Just a quick rundown so you can understand all the KEY fears your audience struggles with, before you dive into your own.

Gate 48: Fear of Inadequacy

“I don’t know enough. I’m not ready. I’m not qualified.”

Gate 57: Fear of the Future

“What if something goes wrong?”

Gate 44: Fear of the Past Repeating Itself

“I’ve been burned before—what if it happens again?”

Gate 50: Fear of Responsibility

“What if I mess this up? What if I let people down?”

Gate 32: Fear of Failure

“What if this doesn’t last? What if I can’t sustain it?”

Gate 28: Fear of Life Being Meaningless

“Is any of this even worth it?”

Gate 18: Fear of Not Being Good Enough / Fear of Judgment

“If I’m not perfect, I’ll be rejected.”

What if your Spleen is Open (meaning no Gates are defined)

This is a list of common issues:

  • Fear of letting go: holding onto people, habits, or situations that feel familiar but aren’t healthy.

  • Fear of the unknown: clinging to comfort even when it’s no longer aligned.

  • Fear that isn’t yours: absorbing and amplifying other people’s fears, making it hard to know what’s true for you.

  • Fear of instability: craving external anchors because inner clarity feels inconsistent.

  • Fear of losing safety: prioritizing “safe” decisions over bold, aligned ones.

  • Struggle with trusting your intuition: sensing things deeply but second-guessing your instincts.

  • Fear of being alone: staying in relationships or roles too long for a sense of survival or emotional security.
